India Shining ................... really ???

"India Shining" was an ad campaign that was made and broadcasted when the BJP Government was in Power sometime back.

A lot of money went in the project.

The Result was a Disaster !!!

Majority dis-approved.
They said "There are people without food, shelter, water, education etc.....
How can u claim that india is shining ???"

That time i didnt really know who was right....

Today i saw a news in a local TV (ETV Kannada).

it goes :
In Kolar(a place in Karnataka near Bangalore ) Two people fought over an insignificant matter and one guy took a 'Macchu' ('Macchu' == You can say a long Knife) and killed the other guy.

Incidently the guy who died, happened to be a DALIT (a class of people who were discriminated in the ancient times). So The Dalit Activists became furious and went for a large scale strike about the atrocities against Dalit community etc. etc. etc.

They stopped the local bus services and burnt out 2-3 buses and damaged 5-6 buses !!!

i am speachless.....................
